UX Designer

Product Department | Full-Time | Remote

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our team at Arcanomy™. In this role, you'll design intuitive, accessible interfaces for our financial tools and educational resources, ensuring an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create user-centered designs for our website, interactive tools, and educational resources
  • Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points
  • Develop user personas, journey maps, and information architecture
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
  • Work with content creators to ensure content and design work together seamlessly
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback
  • Ensure designs are accessible and inclusive for all users
  • Stay current with UX best practices and emerging trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably for educational or financial products
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to explain design decisions and incorporate feedback

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing for financial services or educational platforms
  • Knowledge of data visualization and information design
  • Understanding of behavioral economics and how it influences financial decisions
  • Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first approaches
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development constraints
  • Experience working in an agile environment
